Smoothies are excellent pregnancy nutrition because they are good for you (provided you put the right things in them!), and are an excellent way to consume vitamins when you may be feeling a bit sick or in the 3rd trimester when you may not have much room for anything other than your baby!
Below is my green smoothie recipe, a perfect energy boost crammed full of the good stuff.
A handful of baby spinach
1 celery stalk
¼ inch fresh ginger, peeled
2 squeezes of lemon juice
Blend together and drink immediately
